Nature’s Gifts

I needed to get outside tonight to move some of the plastic play toys that dot our backyard because I have not performed that task in a few days since we have been sick with colds, otherwise our grass will wither away underneath all of that plastic.

I probably do not have to tell you that it is one of the last things that I felt like doing due to my cold. That’s a bummer part about being a grown-up.

Responsibilities.

But waiting outside for me was a wonderful gift.

Not only did I feel connected to the world again just by steeping outside and feeling the sweet summertime air but it was a beautiful night with a peaceful sunset to the west and a big white moon overhead.

Nature’s gifts are the best.
