Grab Your Cards!

It seems like I am never able to find the right card when I need one. I often find myself wishing I had picked up “that perfect one I saw a few months ago” when I was looking for someone else.

Well, I finally had the “Ah ha” moment and now I do!

If I see a great card that makes me think of someone, I buy it. Even if the event is many months away – or even a year. Then I make a note in my appointment/calendar planner book that I have their card.

Ahhhh…organization…I love how that feels.

Yes, I use a pen and paper appointment/calendar planner book to keep track of my “daily doings”.

No, I do not use my phone or computer to keep track of my schedule.

Old school?

Fashionably so…

Keep a list

I am “old school” and prefer to use an appointment/calendar book to keep track of my daily life vs. technology. (Yes, it does show my age).

I use the blank pages in the back to make a list of the names that I regularly buy gifts for birthdays and holidays. Then I jot down my ideas or the gift next to their name. I also make a note on the calendar month of their birthday that I have a gift and quite possibly even the card!

Often, I will put the ripped out page with their fabulous gift idea in the previous month section so I know I need to get it ordered. Or at the very least, I make a note to get working on it.
